Dr. Rupinder Sekhon is among India’s leading gynaecologic oncologists, bringing over 35+ years of clinical experience in the comprehensive management of women’s cancers. She is widely recognised for her expertise in treating ovarian, cervical, endometrial, vaginal and vulvar cancers with a special focus on complex and advanced and recurrent disease.Her clinical interests include cytoreductive surgery with HIPEC & PIPAC for recurrent ovarian cancer and robotic gynaecologic oncology procedures that enable greater surgical precision, faster recovery, and improved outcomes. A certified Robotic Console Surgeon since 2011, she has performed a significant volume of complex cancer surgeries and has been instrumental in developing advanced gynaecologic oncology programs across leading institutions. Her keen interests in women’s healthcare includes screening and management of pre-invasive lesions of the cervix, vulva, endometrial & fertility sparing management of all cancers. Having served more than 16 years in the Indian Air Force as a Classified Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, she brings exceptional clinical discipline and leadership to patient care. With her joining Athenaa, patients gain access to deeply experienced, evidence-based surgical expertise and advanced treatment approaches delivered through a multidisciplinary and patient-centric care model.
