Dr. Deepak B S

Dr. Deepak B S is a highly skilled Neurosurgeon  with a dedicated subspecialty focus on Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (MISS), particularly Full Endoscopic Spine Procedures. Dr. Deepak believes in a patient-centric approach, dedicating time to thoroughly diagnose each condition and explain all treatment options. His expertise in full endoscopic surgery allows him to treat complex spinal disorders—such as herniated discs, spinal stenosis, and sciatica—through incisions of less than 1 cm, often as a day-care procedure. He is committed to providing the most advanced, evidence-based care to help patients return to their active lives with minimal pain and downtime. Dr. Deepak completed his MBBS from Mysore Medical College, Mysore (2009), followed by a postgraduate degree in General Surgery from BJ Medical College, Pune (2013). He furthered his specialization by obtaining a DNB (Diplomate of National Board) in Neurosurgery from the renowned Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Research Institute in Mumbai in 2018. He also holds a fellowship in Minimally Invasive  Spine Surgery from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. His Fellowship in Full endoscopic spine surgery has equipped him with specialized skills to provide safe,precise and effective surgical care with faster recovery and improved outcomes for patients.  To further enhance his expertise, he visited two world-class endoscopic spine centers in Germany — St. Anna Hospital, Herne, under the guidance of Dr. Sebastian Ruetten, and Schön Klinik, Munich, under the mentorship of Prof. Christoph Siepe. During this international observership, he observed advanced techniques in full endoscopic spine surgery and gained valuable insights into the latest global practices. Dr. Deepak has published several scientific papers, articles, and made presentations on the management of spinal disorders at academic conferences.
